2026 LONE STAR FILM FESTIVAL — TEAM MEMBERS

​

 

 

The Lone Star Film Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, will soon be interviewing potential candidates for seasonal positions supporting two key 2026 programs:

​

Summer Film Camps (July 6–31, 2026)
20th Annual Lone Star Film Festival (November 5–10, 2026)

​

Both programs take place in Fort Worth, Texas, and offer a unique opportunity to work alongside filmmakers, students, and industry professionals in a dynamic, creative environment.

 

Summer Film Camps (July 2026)

  • Production Assistants (PA)

    • Support high school students through the filmmaking process. Ideal candidates have on-set production experience and a passion for mentoring emerging filmmakers.

 

Lone Star Film Festival (November 2026)

  • Film Program Screeners

    • Review and evaluate submitted films to help shape the festival lineup

  • Box Office & Merchandise Manager

    • Oversee ticketing operations and merchandise sales; ensure a smooth and welcoming guest experience

  • Theater Managers

    • Manage day-to-day operations at festival venues, including screenings, audience flow, and staff coordination

  • Production Assistants (PA)

    • Provide logistical and operational support across festival events and venues

  • Drivers

    • Transport filmmakers, guests, and materials safely and efficiently throughout the festival.

    • Join our volunteer team and play a vital role in bringing the festival to life while gaining valuable behind-the-scenes experience.

JOHNNY LANGDON FILM EDUCATION INITIATIVE

Provides film education programs for adults and high-school-age students interested in the art of cinema. Programs have included weekend workshops in screenwriting, documentary filmmaking, film theory, and various film camp experiences for students looking to pursue a career in film.The Lone Star Film Society, INC. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Fort Worth, Texas.
