ADMINISTRATIVE INTERNSHIP
The Lone Star Film Society 501c3 non-profit organization is in search of an unpaid Administrative Intern to work alongside the organization's Executive Director and other team leaders in the planning and execution of the 17th annual Lone Star Film Festival (November 2023) in Fort Worth, Texas. This position offers the opportunity to experience multiple jobs that may include:

Film programming
-
Travel coordination
-
Data entry
-
Ticketing and merchandise
-
Website updates
-
Social media oversight
-
Filmmaker correspondence
-
Festival attendee guest service
Work Schedule:
October 2 through November 10, 2023
Hours:
9 am - 3 pm, Monday through Thursday (flexible)
12-hour days during the Lone Star Film Festival week and weekend (October 30 - November 5)
Location:
In-person office hours will start October 2
On-site presence during the Lone Star Film Festival (November 3 - November 5) required
Compensation:
No pay
However, this intern will be eligible for paid temp positions during the festival (see below)
Experience:

BOX OFFICE & MERCHANDISE ASSISTANT

THEATER OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

The Lone Star Film Society 501c3 non-profit organization is in search of a paid Theater Operations Assistant to work alongside the organization's Director of Festival Operations and other team leaders in the planning and execution of the 17th annual Lone Star Film Festival (November 2023) in Fort Worth, Texas. This position offers the opportunity to experience tasks that may include:

Tech team assistance

Taking tickets and scanning badges

Crowd control

Assisting moderators and filmmakers with mics

Keeping screenings on schedule

Cleaning theaters between screenings

Testing content between screenings

Assisting moviegoers with QR code voting​​
