All-Access Festival Passes & Individual Screening Tickets

All-Access Festival Passes and Individual Tickets are on sale now.

What is an All-Access Festival Pass?

An All-Access Festival Pass gives an individual the ability to experience all festival-scheduled events and screenings.  This includes access to 16 film blocks (feature and short films), access to the UTA Film Talks, and evening parties over four days (Nov 1-4, 2024).

Does an All-Access Festival Pass guarantee you a seat at each screening?

No.  Your All-Access Festival Pass gives you first access into an auditorium.  We recommend that you arrive no less than 15 minutes before a screening.  When doors open, All-Access Pass holders will have first access into the theater, followed by individual ticket purchasers.  If a Pass holder arrives after the All-Access Pass holders have gone in, that person will follow into the theater with the Individual ticket holders.  If an auditorium is sold out, All-Access Pass Holders will not be allowed in the auditorium.

What does an All-Access Festival Pass not allow you?

An All-Access Festival Pass does not give you access to the Lone Star Film Festival Gala and the October 27th Conversation with Billy Bob Thornton, which are separately ticketed events.

Are All-Access Festival Passes refundable?

No.

Can I purchase a single ticket to a screening?

Yes. We sell a limited number of individual seats for each screening, which can be purchased online or in person at the venue's door if available.

When I purchase a single ticket to a screening am I guaranteed a seat?

Yes, for 90% of our screening blocks. There may be situations where a popular screening might admit more All-Access Festival Pass holders than expected, selling out the auditorium and preventing individual ticket holders from admitting. If this happens, your individual ticket is fully refundable.

Can I pay cash for a ticket?

Our venues are cashless and require a credit/debit card to complete a purchase.

Are tickets transferable?
Yes, all screening tickets are transferable. As long as a ticket is scanned for a screening, it can be held by anyone. Once that ticket is scanned and the ticket holder is in the auditorium, the ticket cannot be transferred.

Can I reserve a specific seat in advance?
We do not offer reserved seating for tickets or passes. All seating is general admission and first come, first served.

How early can I arrive at my screening?
Lines form at the venue approximately thirty minutes before the venue doors open. We will begin loading attendees 15-30 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Can I arrive after the screening starts?
Late arrivals will be allowed entry on a space-available basis and are not guaranteed a seat.  After a film block has screened for 10 minutes, late arrives will no longer be permitted into the auditorium.

If I misplaced my email confirmation and ticket, can you look me up on-site?
Venue staff can reference orders on-site through the name that purchased the ticket or pass online.  Please contact info@lonestarfilmsociety.com if you would like for your order/ticket information re-emailed to you prior to the festival.

What are RUSH Tickets?
Rush tickets are offered when a screening or event sells out of single tickets. The Rush system functions as a standby line that forms at the venue as the audience loads into an auditorium. Once every All-Access Festival Pass holder and individual ticket holder is seated in the auditorium, our team counts and sells the remaining seats to the RUSH line. Rush Tickets are the same price as online tickets and are payable upon entry.

Can I bring my own food/beverages?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

Are dogs permitted at festival screenings and events?

Only service animals with verifiable certificates will be granted entry under the rules and regulations of the host venue. Please check with the venue directly to see their rules and regulations regarding service animals.

What is the Filmmakers Lounge?

The Filmmakers Lounge is located at the Crescent Hotel Fort Worth on the 2nd floor.  This is where an All-Access Festival Pass holder would go to pick up their All-Access Festival badge and lanyard.  This location is where the Lone Star Film Festival team is headquartered, is the location for information on LSFF and Fort Worth, LSFF merchandise, and is the site of the daily (3 pm Fri, Sat, Sun) UTA Film Talks.  This lounge is open to people picking up their festival badge, shopping for merchandise, and getting festival and city information.  In order to attend the UTA Film Talks, an All-Access Festival Pass is required.

Is there Parking?

If you are attending a screening at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, free parking is available in the museum parking lots.  On Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays, free parking is available in the UNT Health Science Center garage and lots across Camp Bowie Blvd. at Boland and Clifton Streets.  Paid parking is available in the Will Rogers Memorial Center Lot and Garage, at Lancaster and Gendy Streets.
