The Lone Star Film Festival is committed to providing a safe, enjoyable, and respectful work environment. We welcome all genders, gender identities and expressions, sexual orientations, ages, abilities, races, and religions.

We do not condone or tolerate harassment, discrimination, threatening or disrespectful language or behavior. This Code of Conduct extends to all attendees who include, but are not limited to, filmmakers, industry professionals, moderators, volunteers, staff, media, and members of the general public, as well as those who participate in our social media channels.
Harassment of any kind is not tolerated, including hurtful language, intimidation or threats, physical assault of any type, inappropriate disruption of events, inappropriate physical contact, unwanted sexual attention, unwanted photography or video recording, bullying, or stalking. Especially in connection to race or ethnicity, national origin, gender identity or presentation, sex or sexual orientation, age, disability, medical condition or pregnancy, religion, or citizenship status.

If you are asked to stop any harassing behavior, please STOP immediately.

LSFF may take action in its discretion to address any individual(s) or group(s) it believes fail to meet the standards set forth in this Code of Conduct, including, without limitation, revoking the violating parties’ credentials without notice or refund, and employment termination.

If you feel unsafe in your immediate situation, alert a Staff Member, move to a safe location, and dial 911. Please contact conduct@lonestarfilmfest.com if you believe you’ve observed or experienced a violation of this Code of Conduct, and LSFF will work to assess the situation and respond as soon as possible. Notifying LSFF does not constitute or replace a notification to local law enforcement.

All suspected violations of the law should be reported to local law enforcement. For emergencies, immediately dial 9-1-1. For non-emergencies, the Fort Worth Police Department is available at (817) 392-4222.
