Jeff-Bridges-LSFF-2010-2

There are two ways to attend the 2014 Lone Star Film Festival, either by purchasing a Festival Pass or individual screening tickets.

Festival Passes

A pass allows access to screenings with a greater level of freedom and choice. Passes provide a premium level of access because a certain number of seats at each screening are set aside for pass holders, who are allowed into the theater before ticket holders. A screening becomes RUSH LINE ONLY when the number of seats set aside for pass holders and the number of individual tickets sold equals the total number of seats in the theater. However a Rush Line Only status does not necessarily mean that the screening is full. Those interested in attending a screening are encouraged to wait in the Rush Line.

With a pass, you have a much better chance of getting a seat since many spots are reserved for pass holders. Pass holders are allowed into a screening on a first come, first serve basis. Please plan to arrive no later than 15 minutes before the start of the show. After that, you will be asked to wait in the Rush Line.

Note: Festival Passholders must pay an additional fee for tickets to A Conversation with Julian Schnabel and the screening of BEFORE NIGHT FALLS. Tickets are $20 for general public, $15 for Modern members, and $10 Modern Reel People, LSFS members and LSFF Festival pass holders. LSFF All Access passholders are admitted free of charge but must RSVP to rsvp(at)lonestarfilmsociety(dot)com.

The different levels of passes provide different levels of access to screenings and events. There are two types of passes for the festival, Festival Passes and All Access Passes. These are explained below:

Festival Pass

All Access Pass
Available with LSFS Patron Membership or Table at the LSFF Ball

Providing the most comprehensive access to the festival, the All Access pass gives you priority access to all screenings until 15 minutes before showtime plus access to all screenings, panels and events including Opening and Closing Night films and all musical performances. All Access pass holders can RSVP to screenings through the All Access Concierge to reserve seats until showtime. No hard ticket required. Does not include the LSFF Ball. All access passes are only available to LSFS Patron Members or with the purchase of a table to the LSFF Ball.

Individual Screening Tickets

Individual tickets for all regular screenings are $10.00 ($8.00 for LSFS members). Tickets to the Opening Night film are $12.00 ($10.00 for LSFS Members). Tickets are for individual screenings and only provide access to the film for which they are bought. You can either purchase tickets online or at the box office. You can print tickets purchased online at home or retrieve them at the box office. Ticket holders must arrive at the screening at least 15 minutes before show time. A ticket does not guarantee a seat. Please see the Ticket and Pass Holder Rules on our How to Fest Page for more information.

Tickets are not yet on sale! Check back soon.

Rules for Ticket and Pass Holders

Festival passes and tickets can be purchased on the LSFF Tickets and Passes Page, or at the Main Box Office located on the bottom floor of the Wells Fargo Tower (201 Main Street, Suite 100, 76102), starting Monday, November 3 at 10:00 AM. Discounts on pass and ticket purchases are available for LSFS Members.

Tickets purchased online can be printed at home and presented upon entry to the theater, or are available at Will Call at the Main Box Office. Pass Holders must present their pass upon entry to the theater and to their screening. Voucher holders must pick up tickets at one of the box offices before each screening.

Rush Lines

A screening becomes Rush Line Only when the number of seats set aside for pass holders and the number of individual tickets sold equals the total number of seats in the theater. All pass and ticket holders must be in line no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of their screening. Pass holders are allowed entry into the theater first, followed by ticket holders, then the rush line. A pass or ticket does not guarantee admission to a screening, however a Rush Line Only status for a screening does not necessarily mean the screening is full. Please plan to arrive as early as possible to improve your chances of admission.

Those without a pass or individual ticket, or pass and ticket holders who arrive later than 15 minutes before the start of the screening can enter the Rush Line. Those in the Rush Line will be allowed to occupy any seats not claimed by pass and ticket holders less than 15 minutes before show time on a first come, first serve basis. Rush Line seats are available for the regular ticket price of $10. Only cash is accepted for Rush Line seats. Please bring exact change.

NOTE: All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. Some festival films are not yet rated; festival-goers should exercise discretion. Screening times and locations are subject to change. Please check the website for the most up to date information.

  • All passes purchased online must be picked up at the Main Box Office.
  • Passes are the property of the Lone Star Film Festival, and can be revoked without refund at the discretion of its officers. The LSFF does not replace lost badges or tickets.
  • All pass and ticket holders MUST arrive at the screening at least 15 minutes before show time.
  • Seats are available on a first come first serve basis to All Access pass holders, followed by Festival Pass holders, then individual ticket holders. After that time, available seats will be released to the rush line.
  • A RUSH LINE ONLY status for a screening does not necessarily mean the screening is full. If you are interested in attending the screening, you are encouraged to get a pass or ticket and arrive 15 minutes prior to the show time, or wait in the rush line.
  • Pass and ticket holders who arrive after the 15-minute window can still wait in the rush line
  • Voucher holders must pick up tickets at one of the box offices.
  • All pass and ticket sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges.
  • Some festival films are not yet rated; festival goers should exercise discretion.
  • Screening times and locations are subject to change.

A Conversation with Julian Schnabel

Festival Passholders must pay an additional fee for tickets to A Conversation with Julian Schnabel and the screening of Before Night Falls.
